2019 tasks to do monthly planner4/6/2024 ![]() Mostly, I love how it feels to write on paper, and books and planners and supplies are my toys I play with. I now use my beloved Hobonichi Cousin as a daily scribbles and writing meditation book and for keeping up with random things like what book I’m reading (even though Goodreads is my source of truth) and what tv show I’m watching (even though I won’t ever need to refer to it later). Not except my own internal dialogue about how I shouldn’t do that and how I can’t have my sh1t together hopping planners. Have I ever truly suffered because I hopped planners? Not really. Now I know I’m autistic, with some ADHD in the mix. ![]() I was trying subconsciously to compensate for executive function deficits with “the right system.” And executive function deficits that seem to wax and wane. It took me decades to finally realize all my planner hopping (including a bazillion different digital methods, as well) was probably because I’m a person who values organization and minimalism and yet struggles with poor executive function. These guidelines aren't here to discourage posting by professionals rather to help avoid possible spam which might not be pleasant for the community at large.
